Emily is getting Married!!

Aunt Emily is getting married...and we get to be in the wedding. We get to wear beautiful dresses. We love you lots Emmie! Congratulations Emily and Adam.

Polar Express

Mary Kate took her cousins Jake and Grace with her on the Polar Express. As we took off on the train she told everyone she was going to the North Pole. We had a wonderful time and Christmas will be so much fun this year....we can't wait.

Lookin' Good!!

If these pictures don't show the true side of our family, then I don't know what does. My girls are full of sass and attitude and love to show off. Throughout these cold winter days we have been cooped up inside so what more fun than to play dress up. Joe, Tata, Sissy and Kyle (those are their nicknames that Mary Kate gave to them by the way) gave Mary Kate a huge tub of dress up for her birthday so we have had more fun dressing up the girls and daddy than you can imagine!!

Tee-Pee Time!!

We got them good!! One night we thought it was time to get Jason back for all the teeping and wedding surprises and things that he did to us when he lived here. Since they have lived away we have never gotten the opportunity to have a little fun with him...so we decided to give them a welcome home gift! Tonya, Danielle, Kyle, Dan, Katie, Mary Kate and Anna all helped in on the fun, and did we have fun!! The kids absolutely loved every minute of it. Of course I had my camera so I had to take some pictures.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to all. Mary Kate is a big chicken and Anna was a fluffy little chick. They were just adorable and had a great time trick or treating. Happy Halloween to all!

Happy Birthday Mary Kate!

Mary Kate turned 3! She is just a ball of fire and she had the most adorable Minnie Mouse birthday party. This year she loved the presents more than the candles!!

Pumpkin Patch

All the Scheetz kids had a great day at the pumpking patch. I also took just my kids back one day for a day of playing in the corn and having fun. We came home with a BIG pumpkin (Mary Kate's choice) and a little pumpkin that was chewed up (that was Anna's). The pumpkin patch is SOOOO much fun....wait until Halloween and you see us then!!

A few weeks ago I took some photos of Danielle and Dad riding. They turned out wonderful, I just love them!

Best Birthday EVER!!

For my birthday I stayed home all day with the girls and we had the best day ever. We played outside all day long, rode the Jeep Jeep, took a walk in the stroller, did sidewalk chaulk, rode the bike, and did all of this before noon. Then in the afternoon we played playdough, did light brite, and Mary Kate got all dressed up for dance class. We just hang out all day long and it was absolutely awesome. I am still young and no I am not 30 yet people. I maybe having my first mid-life crisis as I got my haircut shorter, I want a new vehicle and I am having an emotional crisi since my kids are growing up. But I am still younger than some of my siblings!! This truely was the best birthday ever.

Papa's 50!

Our Papa is 50!! We had a big surprise party for him since he is getting old! He still plays with us a lot and we love him as much - if not more than ever. Happy Birthday Pops!!

Weekend at the Lake!

Over the weekend we went to the Lake of the Ozarks with friends. Jake and Abby were so nice to invite us and we along with Mary Kate had a wonderful time. They have a great lake house and a boat, so we enjoyed it all. Anna didn't get to go as she was too little and I am sure that she had just as much fun getting spoiled by Grandma Connie and Aunt Abby!! Mary Kate played with Taegan and Jameson all weekend and loved the boat too. Thanks to everyone for the great weekend at the lake!!

Sunny Days!

This weekend we took in the wonderful weather and played outside all weekend long. The girls are both getting so big. Anna's new nickname is "Curly Sue" as she has beautiful little curls all over. She loves to ride in the gator or Jeep with Mary Kate, but we definitely have to buckle her in because it is a rough ride! Mary Kate got her bike from Jake and Gracie and she can ride it all by herself. We need to work on how to get off as she purposely just tips over when she is done. Look closely at Mary Kate - what do you see? Jason and Melanie think that she and Anna both look just like Emily. Congrats Em - I guess they both get there looks from you according to the last discussion. Anyway, we don't want summer to end!

Myrtle Beach - Vacation of a Lifetime!!

Sorry for the delay but we had so many pictures to go through! Anyway, we all went to Myrtle Beach for a summer vacation. The whole entire Scheetz Family went and did we ever have a good time. Mom rented a house on the beach. We had the ocean only 20 feet away and our own private pool as well. We relaxed, jumped waves, swam, swam and swam some more. Mary Kate played so hard that she feel asleep on the table eating lunch one day. Anna and Daddy took lots of naps so they were in heaven too. We went to the Dixie Stampeded, did a boat ride, went fishing and much more. Even though we had lots of troubles with our flights - we still had an amazing time. The time that we spent together was priceless and of course we took lots of family photos on the beach too so I hope you enjoy some of them.

Art Lesson Time!

Mary Kate began her art lessons this summer with Carrie. She did an awesome painting of flowers and this week she worked on making a bowl and a table cloth. However, I wonder if she got more on her or on the art project! She had paint from head to toe but had a wonderful time. Carrie is so talented and makes it a lot of fun for them! Thanks Care!!

Anna Is ONE!!

Our little baby is one! She has grown up so fast in the last few weeks. We had a wonderful party and now our baby is walking.....it all goes too fast.

Family Trip to Ohio!

We made the 11 hour car trip to Ohio for a family wedding. The first day we stopped at "Chuckle Cheese" according to Mary Kate and had a ball. The girls ran off some energy and it is now our favorite spot. We spent the first night at the Great Wolf Lodge which had an indoor waterpark. Then we made it the rest of the way to spend the rest of the weekend with Daniel's family. We had a wonderful time and Mary Kate loved the dancing and it was a beautiful wedding. Congrats to Katie and Micheal we wish you the best!!

The Best Dad Ever!!

Happy Father's Day Dan!! We love you very much. Just lately have I realized how much we need and adore him. We are truely appreciative of all that he does for us. The girls and I couldn't live without him. We also want to let our dads know that they have given us these familiy values and we wouldn't be as close as we are without them. This slide show is of Dan's favorite pastime - our pond. Dan stocked the pond with all kinds of fish and he takes the girls to the pond all the time to feed the fish, see the geese and also to get a little wet at times!! Many memories have been made at our pond and we will never forget them. Also, to John and Jim (our dads) we love you very much and wish you a happy father's day as well. You truely all mean the world to us!!!!

Anna's Almost One!

Our baby is almost 1 - only 2 more weeks until her first big birthday party. She is such a big girl and almost walking. Her mommy is having a really hard time believing she is one. I really miss the baby stage! Anyway, I took these pictures not long ago. Anna has 6 teeth right now, is starting to learn what "no, no" means, can go up the stair, will walk if someone holds her hand, loves all kinds of real food, and is off the bottle and binky as her mean mommy took that away. So things are getting rougher in Anna's world as she gets older. Little baby Anna is almost one.
