Circus Circus!!

Mary Kate had a wonderful weekend with her two aunts, Abby and Emily. They picked her up on Saturday and took her to a party on Saturday night. Mary Kate ran around at the party and showed off to everyone I am sure. She even got a "boo boo" on her knee that she loved showing to everyone. Then on Sunday they took her to the circus. She got to see elephants, tigers, a dog show, and even ride the ponies. She had and wonderful time and can't wait to hand out with them again! Abby and Emily are wonderful to both of our girls and we don't know what we would do without them. I am certain that someday the girls will look up to them and want to be just like them. It is wonderful to have such great family - that's what makes us who we are!!

Most Adorable Dancer!

Here is our baby all grown up. This is her first year in dance and I just think she is the most adorable dancer ever. Her recital is May 24th and we can't wait to see how she does - she is becoming quite the entertainer!!

Cheetah Girl

Poor little Anna has just had one thing after another this winter. Just this week she was on medicine for another ear infection and this is what happened! She had an allergic reaction to the medicine and got hives all over. These pictures are 24 hours before they got twice this size. So needless to say, we got her on more medicine and now they are about gone....poor thing!

Spring Fever at the Cabin

This weekend was a great time. Even though we slopped through the mud, we had a wonderful time just being outside. We played in the club house, drove our battery powered "jeep, jeep" until it died, made a bonfire, roasted marshmellow and weiners and had a great time playing with everyone. Anna missed out on most of the fun as she is still on her medicine and very sleepy - so she didn't care much about the weather. We can't wait for spring and nice weather to be here and stay here!

New Kitchen

I have a new house! For several weeks my house was a disaster. We remodeled the bathroom, laundry room and the kitchen. After several weeks and a completely dirty house with dust everywhere...we have completed. Thanks to the help of Melanie and her sister Darya I got a new countertop - marble even! It is a beautiful black marble and looks very rich and awesome. In the laundry room we painted it a light blue and I got new stackable washer and dryer and the bathroom is the same, but fixed up. I absolutely love my new house!!

Chore Time!

Mary Kate got to help Daddy load pigs today. She definitely loved every minute of it and I don't know how much help she was, but the guys all enjoyed her company. I think she does a good job telling them what to do!!!

Daddy's Home!

For all of you that haven't heard, Dan was in an accident last week. He is in the process of remodeling the hog buildings and fell into the pit. On his fall into a 2 ft. manure pit he hit a piece of rebar and it went into his chest and up to his shoulder. The rebar went in about 4 inches, however, it entered his chest just below the trac. According the doctors they do not know how it missed his trac, arteries, and lungs. It entered just about a 1/4 inch below the trac and went at an angle up towards his right shoulder. It tore his muscle and he is sore, but very lucky had it hit the artery he most likely would have not made it to the hospital as the ER doctor told us. The ENT put a drainage in and he was in the hospital for two days to prevent infection. He got to come home on Friday and he did take it easy over the weekend, but went back to work on Monday after his doctor took the drain out. We are so fortunate that it ended up as a minor issue!! We love Dan very much and are glad he is allright.

Easter 2008

We had a wonderful easter this year and the Easter Bunny found us. We got lots of candy, a pedal tractor, and money. We came home with more candy and goodies than you could imagine. The girls colored Easter eggs at our house with Danielle and Kyle and then Mary Kate colored more eggs at Grandma Connies with Connor, Mason and Reagan. We had so much fun and even went to our first ever egg hunt in West Point.

Lucky Day!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone. We were all decked out in green for the big day!!
